This year's British summer has been, so far, pretty incredible! I mean, first of all, our BBQ has been working overtime in the last few weeks; and second, despite the fact that I planted pretty late in the season, my fruit and veg produce has been really impressive.
But today has been much cooler and a lot greyer, and although I personally welcome this break from the brightness and heat (I don't cope well in those conditions- that's why I chose to live in London) I am pretty sure that most people miss it already. So here's a little something I've assembled from my Flickr faves to brighten up your day:

Hello lovelies! I know it's been a long time without posting and so much has happened. I've been away for a few weeks and then got ill and didn't seem to be able to shake it off for over a month, by which point my studies have resumed and I was up to my eyeballs in course work.
But now I'm back to normal routine, which means I can get back to posting regularly.
Having said that, inspire*inspire is going to stay in a low-key mode for now, so please come back and check on future posts, even if, for the time being, they may be somewhat sporadic.

Today I love the 'end of summer' feeling that these images give off.
I suppose, after spending nearly four weeks in the Mediterranean sun, I am ready to enjoy the last days of summer in England, with much cooler weather, light autumn clothes and a deeper, more moody colour palette.
